Remarks
- Systematics: Aulacaspis isobeae is similar to A. trifolium, but is readily distinguishable from the latter by lacking submarginal dorsal macroducts in the region of the 6th abdominal segment. It may also be close to A. discorum, but is distinct by having dorsal macroducts on the 2nd abdominal segment, by the single gland spines of the pygidium and by the median lobes not apposed basally (Takagi, 1965).
- Structure: Adult female body robust, oblong or nearly so, prosoma, metathorax and abdominal segments I and II being the same or nearly the same in width; prosoma rounded on free margin, prosomatic tubersles not discernible. Anterior spiracles each with a compact cluster of many disc pore; posterior spiracles each with a smaller cluster. Peirvulvar disc pores numerous especially in antero- and posterolateral groups. (Takagi, 2015)
