• Systematics: close to Hulaspis Hall from which it differs by the absence of well-developed scleroses arising from the base of the median lobes. (Mamet, 1962)
• Structure: Non-pupillarial. Adult female almost circular in form, membranous. Pygidium with gland spines, Median pygidial lobes completely fused together, with a duct between their bases
