Remarks
- Structure: Adult female with membranous derm (Lambdin, 1986a). A. citri has the following combination of character-states: (i) pairs of long fleshy setae on dorsum of each anal lobe; (ii) large 8-shaped pores in a band of 8–14 pores along margin of posterior abdominal segments; (iii) each anal lobe has a setose seta on ventral surface near apex; and (iv) strong setose setae absent along inner margins of each anal lobe. According to Lambdin (1986), the adult female is characterised also by: (i) presence of large 8-shaped pores in swirls throughout dorsum anterior to cribriform plates; (ii) five sizes of 8-shaped pores on dorsum; (iii) smallest 8-shaped pores present in apices of each stigmatic band; (iv) cribriform plates in a submedial group of 2–4 plates on each side of abdominal segment IV; (v) leg stubs present; (vi) posterior stigmatic pore bands bifurcated; (vii) multilocular disc-pores present in bands across all abdominal segments and laterad to each metathoracic leg-stub; (viii) stigmatic pore bands narrow, with few spiracular disc-pores; and (ix) largest 8-shaped pores appearing to extend onto venter.
