Remarks
- Systematics: Subfamily Xanthophthalminae (Normark, et al., 2025)
- Structure: Adult female pupillarial, remaining permanently enclosed within sclerotized cuticle of second instar.
Slide-mounted adult female without plates, gland spines, gland tubercles, lobes, or appendages of any kind; dorsal ducts absent; a few exceedingly minute ducts may be present near margin of dorsum; ventral microducts present or absent; antenna with 3 to 4 setae; anterior and posterior spiracles without pores; perivulvar pores, when present, forming a horizontal band on abdominal segment V anterior to vulva;
supernumerary perivulvar pores present or absent on abdominal segments IV–II. (Normark et al. 2025)
