- Systematics: Subfamily DIASPIDINAE Tribe DIASPIDINI Subtribe CHIONASPIDINA (Normark, et al., 2019)
Anaimalaia is similar to Pentacicola, in which, however, the ducts are 2-barred at the inner end and the pygidium has at least one pair of pectinae (Takagi, 1995a).
