• Albastaspis bunya Wei, Normark & Normark 2026: 49. Type data: AUSTRALIA: Queensland, between Kingaroy & Bell (26.7° S, 151.6° E), on Solanum stelligerum, 01/28/1986, by A.J. Wapsuere,. Holotype, female, Type depository: Brisbane: Queensland Museum, Queensland, Australia; accepted valid name Notes: Paratypes: 11 adult females on 9 slides, same data as holotype (NHM). Illustr.

  Albastaspis bunya is very similar to A. hartii, but can be distinguished by following features: 2 gland spines immediately lateral to L2 (1 gland spine in A. hartiii); L1 parallel at base with semicircular apex (L1 divergent at base, roughly triangular overall in A. hartii); L1 margin strongly serrulate to slightly crenulate (entire to slightly serrulate in A. hartii). • Structure: Adult female not pupillarial. “Inducing open galls” on host; appearance in life not otherwise recorded. Slide-mounted (n = 12) adult female 700–850 μm long (holotype 700 μm), 490–600 μm wide (holotype 490 μm), broadest at metathorax and abdominal segment I.
