Remarks

• Systematics: Subfamily ASPIDIOTINAE Tribe AONIDIINI (Normark, et al., 2019) This genus comes close to Greeniella Cockerell in possessing peculiar projections in the adult female without any sign of lobes. The second stage female differs from that of Greeniella in possessing 3 definite pairs of lobes instead of 2 pairs (Borchsenius & Williams, 1963).
